Sunday Set

19 Feb

Tomorrow I am leading worship at Sandals morning services.  I am excited about our set.. but I gotta say… nervous about one of them because getting the words….yikes.

Here it is:  Our God, Cannons, None But Jesus, Everything, and Stronger.

Have you figured out which one lyrically stumps me?  Its the one you can never get either… Everything.  I love that song, but, really Tim?  (Hughes, I mean.  He wrote the song) =)

I have never lead this song before.  Always left it to someone else to memorize the words.  Here it is:

“God in my living, there in my breathing, God in my waking, God in my sleeping, God in my resting, there in my working, God in my thinking, God in my speaking….. God in my hoping, there in my dreaming, God in my watching, God in my waiting, God in my laughing, there in my weeping, God in my hurting, God in my healing…”

Yeah, I think I might have a cheat sheet tomorrow.

With all joking aside, I love how this song seems to encompass so many parts of life.  For me, I love how it seems to cover all the emotions of our infertility journey.

I got to meet Tim Hughes last year and thank him for writing this song.  It is a gift…. but it still takes a bit to memorize =)

This might be my favorite worship song.
Lord, I pray that you bring the word to Becca naturally so that she can be a part of leading your people into a spirit of worship before you without being distracted. I pray that you find glory in the sweet words but more so in the heart of the worshipers. I thank you for what you are doing through Becca and how you will use her tomorrow and moving forward. Thank you, Amen.

I did see your cheat sheet… and there’s nothing wrong w/ that. I’m glad you’re feeling better, btw.
