Christmas at the Heinrichs House

5 Jan

Ah, Holidays in Fresno.

Andrew and I spent Christmas morning with his parents (of which I have no pics yet. Hint, hint to you-know-who), then we went to my parent’s house for the afternoon.  This is my parents, brother and girlfriend on the couch, and two nephews.  Notice the two year old opening presents while no one was watching.  This happened often as he didn’t care if the presents were his or not, he just liked to tear open the paper.

Then my mom taught my sister and I how to make her famous, delicious, homemade applesauce.

I had to learn sometime because my children will not eat store bought.

Two of these pots of apples and we only got 4 jars out of it.  It was a lot of work and I now have a new-found respect for my mom’s domestic abilities.

If you ever come over and I ever give you some of my applesauce, you know I love you.  This stuff is like gold!

And had a little friendly bowling competition at my sister’s house on my nephew’s new wii.

We were in Fresno for a week, had a great time with family and friends, and were then ready to come home and sleep in our own bed.

We had a good holiday.

You?
