I’ll get to it

30 Aug

I’ll Get to It    I am loving the contacts made even the last few days. I just started my blog 5 days ago. I’m linking to a lot of other blogs (apparently your technarati (spelling?) scores matter). I know you can’t have a parentheses inside a parentheses, I teach science, not English. Leave me alone.

Anyway, I want to contact everyone eventually and post on all your blogs, but I am finding out quickly that this new world is eating up a lot of my time.

I am sitting here on my couch posting when there is laundry to be folded all around me.

I just know my husband is going to come home any minute and wonder what I’ve been doing since I got home from school.

Anyone else have the same problem?

First let me say that I love this! I love that I feel like I will be able to keep up with you in ATL and see the everyday stuff like laundry! You also have to talk to Carlos about uploading your pictures a little smaller. I dont know how to tell you how to do it, but I do want you to ask him. I love ya. H

regarding Heather’s comment about picture size…I was informed by an IT guy at work who I asked about this very thing. He said to go adobe.com and download photoshop elements. It should be free. Then I believe you can save your picture at a smaller size. This is just second hand info…but from a very realible source. I’m still trying to convince my mom to download it since they got a new camera….=)

hey, i adjust my photo sizes in the cheesy Office Picture Manager…

two things i always do before i upload any picture:
    1) i resize it to 50% of its original size
    2) i compress it for the web

all of this i do in the above-mentioned cheesy software. (i also use photoshop elements, but for more complex stuff than resizing)

just thought this would help you!

well, in the mac/iphoto world when you export the picture it asks you what size you want and carlos taught me that the magic number is 640 x 426
oh and kim and derek are coming over to cook me dinner tonight. We will find a time to hang out!

Blogging can definetly suck you in for awhile. It’s a rabbit trail from one blog to another blog, and then that leads you to a different blog. That’s actually how I found your blog. Started at Raggamufin soul, this Snapfish, and then here. Before you know it, you forgot to eat dinner, laundry that was in the washer dried itself in the washer, and it’s time for bed.

I love your parentheses within the parentheses … and that is all I am going to say about it =)
