I am Rebecca Boganwright. Those who know me call me Becca. I am originally from Fresno, CA but a few years ago I married an amazing guy and moved to So Cal. I get paid to be a middle school teacher am also one of the worship leaders at Sandals Church in Riverside, CA (the written views on this blog do not necessarily reflect those of Sandals Church). I am passionate about pursuing excellence in my marraige, giving my students the life skills they need to succeed, and leading others in the experience of worshipping God. If I had the choice, I’d also be a broadway actress, a rock star, a neurologist, a killer whale trainer, a sign-language interpreter, a mentor teacher, a professional volleyball player, and a stay-at-home mom (when I have kids) all at the same time. But for now, I love where I’m at.

Hi from Bakersfield. I found your blog while searching for “how to respond when students say I hate you”. I’m in the process of finishing my credential (middle school English). Your blog about being the “mean teacher” was funny and ironically, uplifting. I like what you’ve done here and how you praise God through it all! That’s so encouraging. Keep it up.

Hi, Rebecca~ it’s Audra (used to be “Jordan”, originally from Fresno, but also went to APU). I was thinking about you the other day, because I remember you said you lived in Rancho… or at least you did like 4 years ago. We’re living in San Dimas right now, and I thought that if you’re still around it would be great to catch up over a cup of coffee some time. feel free to email me if you want. hope all is well with you & that the Lord is continuing to guide your every step.

Mrs.B you are an amazing person and you have such a big heart. My eighth grade year with you was a fun adventure. You have made a big impact on my life and are an inspiration. My cousin Andrew Jaco says “hi, you are a great teacher”
